Half Girlfriend is an upcoming Indian romantic drama film based on the novel of the same name written by Chetan Bhagat. The film is directed by Mohit Suri and features Arjun Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor in the lead roles.

Principal photography commenced in June 2016 and filming locations include Delhi, Patna, Dumraon, Varanasi, New York City and Cape Town. The film is scheduled for a worldwide release on 19 May 2017.

Film went into production in March 2016. Prominent shooting locations included Miranda House in New Delhi and Times Square and the UN Headquarters in New York City. Around 200 students from different colleges were roped in to play extras as some of the scenes demand Delhi University students in the film. The trailer was released on April 10.

The film score is composed by Raju Singh who has composed for all of Mohit Suri's previous films. The songs featured in the film are composed by Mithoon, Tanishk Bagchi, Rishi Rich, Farhan Saeed, Ami Mishra and Rahul Mishra while the lyrics have been written by Manoj Muntashir, Kumaar, Kunaal Vermaa, Arafat Mehmood, Tanishk Bagchi, Laado Suwalka, Anushka Shahaney, R. Rekhi, Veronica Mehta, Yash Anand, Yash Narvekar and Ishita Moitra Udhwani. Baarish by Ash King and Shashaa Tirupati is the first song released on YouTube. The album includes a duet, "Thodi Der", by Shreya Ghoshal and Farhan Saeed, released on April 26, 2017. This track is a recreated version of the album "Tu Thodi Der" by Saeed. The music rights are acquired by Zee Music Company. The full soundtrack album was released on 28 April 2017 which includes 11 songs.

Sarkar 3 is a 2017 Indian political crime thriller film, directed by Ram Gopal Varma, and co written by Varma and Nilesh Girkar. This is the third installment of the Sarkar franchise which stars Amitabh Bachchan again in the lead role along with Ronit Roy, Jackie Shroff, Manoj Bajpayee, Amit Sadh and Yami Gautam. The film was released on 12 May 2017.

Annu Karkare (Yami Gautam) conspires and attempts to avenge the death of her father, for which she blames "Sarkar" (Amitabh Bachchan). Juxtaposed with the situation is Sarkar's own personal battles with his volatile grandson Shivaji Nagre or "Cheeku" (Amit Sadh). Parallely the political and corporate diaspora pose threats to Sarkar's dominance. Assisted by his aide Gokul Satam (Ronit Roy), Sarkar deals with one of his greatest adversaries in the form of Michael Valya (Jackie Shroff) and the moody and seemingly violent politician Govind Deshpande (Manoj Bajpayee).

In 2009 Ram Gopal Verma stated that he had no plans finalised for the third instalment in the series and shelved Sarkar 3. However in 2012 it was reported that the sequel would go ahead once again and currently is in the pre production stage where the script is being written. The film is expected to go on floors at the end of 2013, primarily with the same cast of Amitabh and Abhishek Bachchan although his character dies at the end of this film and also Aishwarya Rai is to be left out.

In August, 2016 director Ram Gopal Varma confirmed Sarkar 3. He told on his Twitter that Abhishek and Aishwarya will not be a part of the third installment.

The rights of the film are acquired by eros now music. The full soundtrack was released on 3 May 2017 which has 7 songs.
